How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is one 3 mg tablet once a day for up to 4 days. You can take a 5 mg tablet if 3 mg is not enough, but do not take both.

Method

Take the tablet with a glass of water at your usual bedtime at your destination. Do not eat for 2 hours before or after taking the dose. Do not take tablets before 8 PM or after 4 AM.

Important

Maximum of 5 mg once daily.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to melatonin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have epilepsy, as this medicine may increase seizures.
  • Not recommended if you have severe kidney disease.
  • Not recommended if you have liver disease.
  • Not recommended if you have an autoimmune disease (where your body attacks itself).

  • Not recommended if you have heart or blood vessel disease and are taking blood pressure medicine.
  • This medicine can make you drowsy. Do not drive or operate machines after taking it.
  • Smoking can make this medicine less effective.
  • Do not give to children under 18 years old.
  • Avoid alcohol and eating 2 hours before or after taking this medicine, as they can reduce its effect or worsen side effects.

Category A
