How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will determine the exact dose for you based on your condition and body size.

Method

The medicine is given as a drip into a vein (intravenous infusion) over 30 to 60 minutes.

  • Excessive urination, including at night, and strong thirst even after drinking fluids (nephrogenic diabetes insipidus).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to bendamustine hydrochloride or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you are breastfeeding; if treatment is necessary, you must stop breastfeeding.
  • Do not use if you have severe liver problems or yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice) due to liver or blood issues.
  • Do not use if your bone marrow is severely suppressed, meaning you have very low white blood cell or platelet counts.
  • Do not use if you have had major surgery within 30 days before starting treatment.

  • Do not use if you have an infection, especially if your white blood cell count is low.
  • Do not use with yellow fever vaccination.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you notice memory loss, thinking difficulties, walking problems, or vision loss, as these could be signs of a serious brain infection (PML).
  • Report any suspicious skin changes to your doctor, as this medicine may increase the risk of certain skin cancers.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe skin rashes, including red spots, blisters, skin peeling, or sores in the mouth, nose, eyes, or genitals, possibly with fever.
  • Tell your doctor if you experience side pain, blood in urine, or reduced urine, as these can be signs of tumor lysis syndrome.
  • Be aware of severe allergic or infusion reactions, especially after the first treatment cycle.
  • This medicine can significantly affect your ability to drive or use machines. Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience side effects like dizziness or coordination problems.
  • Men undergoing treatment should avoid fathering children during treatment and for 6 months afterward, as the treatment may cause permanent infertility.
  • Women who can become pregnant must use effective contraception during treatment and for 6 months after.
  • Men must use effective contraception and should not father children during treatment and for 3 months after.
