How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 lozenge 3 times a day.

Method

Let the lozenge dissolve slowly in your mouth for the best effect.

Important

Do not take more than 3 lozenges per day. Do not use for more than 7 days without talking to a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Sensitivity to light (skin rash or sunburn).
  • Dry mouth, burning feeling in the mouth, allergic reactions like rash or itching.
  • Throat spasms (laryngospasm), swelling (angioedema, e.g., swelling of mouth and throat lining).
  • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) with difficulty breathing, chest pain or tightness, dizziness, intense skin itching or raised bumps, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; this can be life-threatening.
  • Numbness in the mouth.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Zyx if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any other ingredients in the medicine.
  • Be careful if you are sensitive to aspirin or other NSAID pain relievers (like ibuprofen).
  • If you have asthma, Zyx lozenges might cause breathing problems.
  • If your symptoms get worse or don't improve after 3 days, see a doctor or dentist.
  • Do not give Zyx lozenges to children under 6 years old. An adult should supervise children under 12 years old when they use Zyx lozenges.
