How to Use

Dosage

Take one lozenge.

Method

Let the lozenge dissolve slowly in your mouth.

Important

Do not take more than 3 lozenges per day, and do not use them for more than 7 days. Do not exceed the dose without consulting a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

  • Sensitivity to light (rash or sunburn from sun exposure).

  • Dry mouth.
  • Burning sensation in the mouth.
  • Allergic reactions (like rash or itching).

  • Laryngospasm (spasm of the voice box).
  • Angioedema (swelling of the lining of the mouth and throat).

  • Numbness in the mouth (decreased sensation).
  • Severe allergic reaction (anafylactic shock) with symptoms such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, dizziness, itchy skin, raised bumps on the skin, and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or throat.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to its active ingredient (benzydamine hydrochloride) or any other ingredient.
  • Be careful if you are sensitive to certain pain medicines (like aspirin or ibuprofen).
  • Talk to a doctor if you have or have had asthma, as this medicine might cause breathing problems.
  • If your symptoms do not get better or get worse within 3 days, contact a doctor or dentist.
  • This medicine should not be given to children under 6 years old. Children under 12 should use it under adult supervision.

  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Stop use and seek immediate medical help if you experience swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, or trouble breathing.
  • If you have a sugar intolerance, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
  • This medicine contains aspartame, which may be harmful if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).
  • Check the ingredient list if you know you are allergic to certain flavors or colorings (e.g., para-orange, benzyl alcohol).
