How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 lozenge, 3 times a day.

Method

Let the lozenge slowly dissolve in your mouth for the best effect.

Important

Do not exceed 3 lozenges per day without consulting a doctor; use for a maximum of 7 days.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Sensitivity to light (rash or sunburn).
  • Dry mouth.
  • Burning sensation in the mouth.
  • Allergic reactions, such as rash or itching.
  • Throat spasms (laryngospasm).
  • Swelling of the mouth or throat lining (angioedema).
  • Allergic reaction (hypersensitivity).
  • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) with symptoms like difficulty breathing, chest pain, dizziness, severe itching, raised skin rash, and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or throat; this can be life-threatening.
  • Numbness in the mouth.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Zyx if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Be careful if you are sensitive to aspirin or other NSAID pain relievers (like ibuprofen).
  • If you have or have had asthma, as Zyx lozenges can cause breathing difficulties.
  • If your symptoms worsen or do not get better within 3 days, contact a doctor or dentist.
  • Do not give Zyx lozenges to children under 6 years old.

  • Stop use and contact a doctor right away if you get severe allergic symptoms like swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, or breathing problems.
