How to Use

Dosage

Apply 5 times a day, about every 4 hours.

Method

Wash your hands before and after applying the cream to the affected area.

Important

Do not apply more than 5 times a day. If cold sores do not heal after 10 days, contact a doctor.

Important Warnings

  • If your cold sore is very bad or gets worse, talk to a doctor.
  • Do not get the cream in your eyes. If it gets in your eyes, rinse well with water and call a doctor if needed.
  • Do not use the cream inside your mouth or nose.
  • Use this cream only for cold sores on the lips, unless a doctor tells you otherwise. It does not work on other skin rashes.
  • Cold sores are contagious. To avoid spreading them, wash your hands after applying the cream and do not let others touch your cold sore or share your towel.
