How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 lozenge every one to two hours. Usually, 8–12 lozenges per day are enough.

Method

Place the lozenge in your mouth and let it dissolve. Move the lozenge from one side of your mouth to the other until it has fully dissolved (in about 10-15 minutes). Do not chew or swallow the lozenge whole.

Important

Maximum 24 lozenges per day for the 2 mg strength, and maximum 15 lozenges per day for the 4 mg strength.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to nicotine or any other ingredient, if you do not smoke, or if you are under 12 years old.
  • Talk to a doctor if you cannot quit smoking after 6 months of treatment.
  • Always keep Zonnic Mint out of reach and sight of children, as even a small dose can be dangerous for children.
  • Avoid using while breastfeeding, as nicotine can pass into breast milk. If your doctor recommends it, take the lozenge right after breastfeeding and wait two hours before the next feeding.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have a severe heart condition, a recent heart attack or stroke, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, diabetes, stomach ulcer, esophagitis, overactive thyroid, or a tumor in your adrenal glands.

  • Do not eat or drink while the lozenge is in your mouth, as this can reduce its effect. Avoid acidic drinks 15 minutes before taking the lozenge.
