How to Use
Dosage
For migraine, one spray (2.5 mg or 5 mg) into one nostril; a second spray can be taken if symptoms return after 2-24 hours. For cluster headache, one spray (5 mg or 10 mg) into one nostril.
Method
Clear your nose, remove the cap, insert the nozzle into one nostril, close the other nostril, tilt your head back, breathe in gently, and firmly press the plunger. Remove the nozzle and breathe through your mouth.
Important
No more than two sprays (5 mg or 10 mg total) within 24 hours for migraine. For 2.5 mg spray, max 5 mg/day. For 5 mg spray, max 10 mg/day. For cluster headache, max 10 mg/day (four 2.5 mg doses or two 5 mg doses).

- •Nosebleed, nasal irritation, stuffy or runny nose

- •Muscle weakness or aches

- •Feeling of heaviness, tightness, pain or pressure in the throat, neck, arms, legs, or chest
- •Difficulty swallowing
RARE
- •Allergic reactions, including hives, swelling of face, lips, mouth, tongue, throat, or difficulty swallowing or breathing.
- •Chest pain (angina), heart attack, or narrowing of heart blood vessels, with symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath.
- •Spasms of the gut blood vessels, which can damage the gut, causing stomach pain or bloody diarrhea.
- •Very fast heart rate
- •Slight increase in blood pressure
- •Increased or more frequent urination
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to zolmitriptan or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not use if you have high blood pressure or serious heart problems, including heart attack or chest pain.
- Do not use if you have had a stroke or a mini-stroke (TIA).
- Do not use if you have severe kidney problems.
- Do not use with other migraine medicines like ergotamine or other triptans.

- This medicine is not for children under 12 or adults over 65 years old.
- Using too much of this medicine can cause daily headaches or make your migraines worse.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant before using this medicine.
- Do not breastfeed for 24 hours after using Zomig Nasal.
