How to Use
Dosage
Always follow your doctor's instructions for the dose. It is usually taken once a day.
Method
Use the syringe provided. Shake the bottle, pull the medicine into the syringe, then give it directly into the mouth or onto a spoon. Can be taken with or without food.

Do not exceed the daily dose your doctor has prescribed.

Important Warnings
- Do not give if your child is allergic to azithromycin or similar antibiotics.
- Tell your doctor if your child has liver or kidney problems.
- Inform your doctor about all other medicines your child is taking.
- Contact your doctor if your child has severe, bloody, or long-lasting diarrhea.
- Tell your doctor if your child has heart problems or an imbalance of salts in their body.

- Tell your doctor if your child has myasthenia gravis (a muscle weakness condition).
- Contact a doctor if a newborn (under 42 days old) vomits or is irritable after taking this medicine.
- Do not take this medicine with antacids (stomach acid neutralizers). If needed, take antacids at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after Zithromax.
- This medicine contains sugar. If your child has diabetes or cannot tolerate certain sugars, talk to your doctor.
