How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet once a day.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably in the morning at least 15 minutes before breakfast.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Cough
  • Headache, dizziness
  • Feeling nervous or anxious
  • Feeling dizzy or lightheaded when standing up
  • Fast or irregular heartbeat (palpitations)
  • Sudden flushing of face, neck, or chest, low blood pressure
  • Stomach pain, constipation, feeling sick (nausea)
  • Skin redness
  • Joint pain
  • Frequent urination
  • Feeling weak or tired, hot flashes, swollen ankles
  • Changes in blood tests, like fewer platelets or more potassium
RARE
  • Anemia (low red blood cells)
  • Allergic reactions
  • Ringing in your ears (tinnitus)
  • Fainting
  • Dry or sore throat
  • Digestive problems, salty taste in mouth, diarrhea, dry mouth, swollen gums
  • Severe allergic swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat (difficulty swallowing or breathing), rash, hives
  • Needing to urinate often at night, making a lot of urine
  • Impotence

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to enalapril, lercanidipine, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • If you have ever had severe swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat (angioedema), which made it hard to swallow or breathe, especially after taking an ACE inhibitor.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are more than 3 months pregnant or are planning to get pregnant.
  • If you have diabetes or kidney problems and are also taking a blood pressure medicine that contains aliskiren.
  • Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while taking this medicine.

  • If you are taking or have recently taken sacubitril/valsartan for heart failure, as it increases the risk of serious swelling.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category A

Suitable for older adults. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Significant adverse effects include ankle oedema and orthostatic hypotension. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 17.2.2025)
