Zaditen eye drops contain ketotifen, an allergy medicine used to treat eye symptoms caused by seasonal allergies.

How to Use

Dosage

One drop in each eye, twice a day (morning and evening), for adults, elderly, and children 3 years and older.

Method

Wash hands, open the bottle without touching the tip. Tilt your head back, pull your lower eyelid down, and squeeze one drop into the eye. Close your eye and press the inner corner for 1-2 minutes. Repeat for the other eye if needed. Close the bottle after use.

Important

Do not use more than one drop in each eye twice a day.

  • inflammation of the eye's surface
  • increased light sensitivity of the eye
  • visible bleeding under the eye surface
  • headache

  • rash (which may also be itchy)
  • eczema (itchy, red, burning rash)
  • dry mouth
  • allergic reaction (including swelling of face and eyelids) and worsening of existing allergic conditions like asthma or eczema
  • dizziness

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to ketotifen or any other ingredients of this medicine.
  • If you use other eye medicines, wait 5 minutes between applying different medicines.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you are taking, especially those for depression, anxiety, sleep problems, or allergies.
  • Zaditen eye drops may make the effects of alcohol stronger.
  • If you experience blurred vision, tiredness, or dizziness, do not drive or use machines until symptoms clear.

  • If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using Zaditen and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
  • Benzalkonium chloride may cause eye irritation, especially if you have dry eyes or corneal problems. Contact your doctor if you experience unusual feelings, stinging, or pain.
