How to Use

Dosage

Start with 2 tablets at bedtime; if needed, your doctor might increase your dose to 1 tablet in the morning, 1 in the mid-afternoon, and 2 at bedtime.

Method

Take Xonvea on an empty stomach. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or split the tablets.

Important

Do not take more than 4 tablets in one day (1 in the morning, 1 in the mid-afternoon, and 2 at bedtime).

  • Feeling like the room is spinning (vertigo)
  • Breathing problems, feeling your heart beat fast or hard
  • Stomach bloating, stomach pain, constipation, or diarrhea
  • Sweating a lot, skin reactions like itching or rash
  • Trouble or pain when you pee
  • Chest discomfort
  • Feeling generally unwell or irritated
  • Dryness of mouth, nose, and throat
  • Seeing double, ringing in your ears, sudden ear problems
  • Shaking, being nervous, or having uncontrolled facial movements
  • Tightness in your chest, thick mucus in lungs, wheezing, stuffy nose
  • Chills, getting your period early
  • Changes in mood, like seeing or hearing things that aren't there (hallucinations), confusion, strange thoughts, or weakness
  • Lower numbers of certain blood cells (like white blood cells or platelets)
  • Increased hunger, sometimes with weight gain

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Xonvea if you are allergic to doxylamine succinate, other antihistamines (like diphenhydramine), pyridoxine hydrochloride, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take Xonvea if you are taking antidepressant medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
  • Talk to your doctor before taking Xonvea if you have or have ever had asthma, high eye pressure, narrow-angle glaucoma, stomach ulcers, blockages in your digestive system, or bladder problems.
  • Avoid alcohol and tell your doctor if you take cough, cold, sleep, or pain medicines, as they can cause severe drowsiness when taken with Xonvea.
  • Do not drive, cycle, or use tools or machines if you feel sleepy while taking this medicine.

  • Xonvea is not for use in children under 18 years of age.
  • Do not stop taking Xonvea suddenly without talking to your doctor, as your nausea and vomiting might return.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking any additional B vitamins, including those from food or supplements.
  • This medicine contains Allura Red AC aluminium lake (E129), which may cause allergic reactions.
