Wynzora cream is used by adults to treat mild to moderate common psoriasis, including scalp psoriasis, by normalizing skin cell growth and reducing inflammation.

How to Use

Dosage

Use the cream once daily.

Method

Apply a thin layer of cream with your fingertips to the psoriasis-affected skin and rub it gently. For scalp, comb hair to remove loose flakes, part hair if needed, and apply directly to affected areas.

Important

Do not use more than 15 grams per day or on more than 30% of your body surface.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Inflammation or swelling of hair follicles in the treated area (folliculitis)
  • Insomnia
  • Itching
  • Rash
  • Hives
  • Skin irritation in the treated area
  • Pain in the treated area
  • Eczema in the treated area
  • Skin peeling in the treated area
  • Spider veins in the treated area
RARE
  • Blurred vision
  • Allergic reactions with swelling of the face or other body parts like hands or feet, possibly including swelling of the mouth or throat and difficulty breathing.
  • High calcium levels in blood or urine, causing frequent urination, constipation, muscle weakness, and confusion.
  • Adrenal glands not working properly, leading to tiredness, depression, and anxiety.
  • Blurred vision, difficulty seeing in the dark, light sensitivity (may be a sign of cataracts).
  • Eye pain, red eyes, reduced or blurry vision (may be a sign of increased eye pressure).
  • Infections (due to weakened immune system).
  • Pustular psoriasis (red psoriasis areas with yellowish, pus-filled blisters).
  • Fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
  • Skin thinning
  • Stretch marks
  • Visible blood vessels under the skin
  • Changes in hair growth
  • Red rash around the mouth (perioral dermatitis)
  • Worsening of psoriasis
  • Skin sensitivity to light, causing rash
  • Itchy rash (eczema)
  • White or gray hair in the treated area may temporarily turn yellowish when the cream is applied to the scalp.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to calcipotriol, betamethasone, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have problems with calcium levels in your body.
  • Do not use if you have certain types of psoriasis like erythrodermic, exfoliative, or pustular psoriasis.
  • Do not use on skin with viral skin infections (e.g., cold sores, chickenpox), fungal skin infections (e.g., athlete's foot), bacterial skin infections, parasitic skin infections (e.g., scabies), tuberculosis, perioral dermatitis (red rash around the mouth), thin skin with easily damaged blood vessels or stretch marks, ichthyosis (dry, fish-scale like skin), acne, rosacea (severe redness on the face), or broken skin.
  • Avoid using on more than 30% of your body or more than 15 grams per day.

  • Avoid using under bandages, swimming caps, or tight coverings, as this increases steroid absorption.
  • Avoid using on large areas of broken skin, mucous membranes, or skin folds (groin, armpits, under breasts), or on your face and genitals, as these areas are very sensitive.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning beds, and other forms of light therapy.
  • Not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
