How to Use
Dosage
The starting dose is 6 mg per kilogram of body weight twice a day for the first 24 hours. The maintenance dose is 4 mg per kilogram of body weight twice a day.
Method
The medicine is given as an infusion into a vein (drip into a blood vessel) over 1 to 3 hours.
Important
Your doctor will determine the maximum daily dose, but the maintenance dose is typically 8 mg per kilogram of body weight per day.
