How to Use

Dosage

1 drop into the eye 3-5 times a day.

Method

Wash your hands. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid, and drop 1 drop into your eye from the bottle. Avoid touching your eye with the bottle tip. Close the bottle immediately after use.

Important

Maximum 5 drops daily.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Eye pain
  • Mild to moderate temporary eye irritation
RARE
  • Eye itching
  • Red eyes (bloodshot eyes)
  • Blurred vision (immediately after applying drops)
  • Damage to the outer surface of the cornea
  • Corneal ulcers
  • Corneal thinning
  • Shortness of breath
  • Worsening of asthma
  • Allergic symptoms

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac sodium or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if diclofenac or other pain relievers (like aspirin or ibuprofen) have caused hives, asthma, or a strong allergic reaction in your nose.
  • Do not use during the last three months of pregnancy.
  • Use during the first six months of pregnancy only if absolutely necessary and as advised by your doctor.
  • Talk to your doctor before using during breastfeeding, as the medicine may pass into breast milk.

  • If your vision becomes blurry after using the drops, do not drive or operate machinery until your vision is clear.
  • Remove contact lenses before applying drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. Benzalkonium chloride can stain soft contact lenses.
  • If you use other eye medicines, wait at least 5 minutes between applying different drops.
  • Use with caution if you are also using steroid eye drops, as this combination may cause damage to the cornea.
