How to Use

Dosage

Apply a small amount of gel to the painful area twice a day, in the morning and evening.

Method

Squeeze out a small amount (about 5-10 cm long strip) and gently rub it into the skin where it hurts; the amount depends on the size of the painful area.

Important

Do not use for more than 2 weeks for muscle and joint injuries, or more than 3 weeks for arthritis pain, unless your doctor tells you to; if symptoms do not improve within 7 days, see a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Skin rash
  • Itchy skin
  • Redness
  • Stinging sensation
RARE
  • Skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight, possibly with itching, sunburn, swelling, and blisters.
  • Blistering rash or hives (stop use and seek medical help immediately).
  • Wheezing, shortness of breath, or chest tightness (asthma symptoms) (stop use and seek medical help immediately).
  • Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat (stop use and seek medical help immediately).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use on broken skin (cuts, open wounds, rashes).
  • Stop using if you get a skin rash.
  • Use only on the skin, do not swallow it.
  • Keep it away from your eyes. If it gets in your eyes, rinse well and see a doctor if irritation continues.
  • Do not use under tight (airtight) bandages.

  • Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac or similar pain relief medicines (like ibuprofen or aspirin).
  • Do not use during the last three months of pregnancy.
  • Do not use if you are under 14 years old.
