How to Use

Dosage

Adults usually take 100-150 mg per day, divided into 2-3 doses. Your doctor will tell you the exact dose.

Method

Swallow tablets whole with water. It's best to take them before a meal or on an empty stomach. Do not cut, crush, or chew the tablets.

Important

Do not take more than 150 mg per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you have heart disease or a history of stroke.
  • Do not take if you are allergic to diclofenac or similar pain medicines (NSAIDs).
  • Do not take if you have a stomach ulcer, bleeding, or a hole in your stomach or intestines.
  • Do not take if you have severe kidney, liver, or heart problems.
  • Do not take if you are in the last three months of pregnancy.

  • This medicine can hide symptoms of infection, like fever, making diagnosis difficult.
  • Stop taking and contact your doctor immediately if you develop a severe skin rash, blisters, or sores in your mouth.
  • Using this medicine may slightly increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with high doses or long-term use.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. For short-term use only. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Increases swelling, worsens renal and heart failure and causes cardiovascular events. Increases risk of bleeding, especially in the gastrointestinal tract.
