How to Use

Dosage

Typically, one drop in the affected eye three times a day (morning, afternoon, and evening). If you are using other eye drops, your doctor might prescribe one drop twice a day (morning and evening).

Method

Wash your hands well. Twist off the cap and tilt your head back. Pull down your lower eyelid, look up, and gently squeeze one drop into your eye. Blink a few times, then press on the inner corner of your eye with a finger for about two minutes. Do not let the bottle tip touch your eye or any other surface. Shake the bottle downwards before closing the cap.

Important

Maximum of three drops per day if you only use Vizidor. If you use it with other eye drops, a maximum of two drops per day. Wait at least 10 minutes if you are using more than one type of eye drop.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Burning or stinging in the eye
  • Corneal disease (soreness and blurry vision)
  • Watery eyes and itching (eye inflammation)
  • Irritation or inflammation of the eyelids
  • Blurred vision
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Bitter taste in the mouth
  • Fatigue
RARE
  • Inflammation of the iris
  • Tingling or numbness in hands and feet
  • Temporary nearsightedness (improves after stopping treatment)
  • Fluid buildup under the retina
  • Eye pain
  • Crusty eyelids
  • Low eye pressure
  • Corneal swelling (vision problems)
  • Eye irritation and redness
  • Kidney stones
  • Dizziness
  • Nosebleed
  • Throat irritation
  • Dry mouth
  • Skin rash (contact dermatitis)
  • Severe skin reactions
  • Allergic reactions (e.g., rash, hives, itching, swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing, wheezing)
  • Shortness of breath
  • Feeling of grit in the eye
  • Fast or irregular heartbeats (palpitations)
  • Increased heart rate
  • High blood pressure
  • Feeling of a foreign object in the eye

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredients in Vizidor.
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney problems or kidney stones.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have eye diseases or have had eye surgery.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if your eyes become irritated, red, or swollen.
  • Stop using the medicine and contact your doctor right away if you get an allergic reaction (e.g., rash or itching).

  • If you wear contact lenses, ask your doctor for advice before using Vizidor.
  • Tell your doctor if you have liver disease.
  • Do not use Vizidor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Vizidor may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you feel well and can see clearly.
  • Do not change your dose without your doctor's permission.
  • Avoid touching the tip of the bottle to your eye or surrounding area to prevent infections and damage.
  • Wash your hands before using the eye drops.
  • Use the contents of the bottle within 28 days after opening it.
