How to Use
Dosage
For premature babies and babies weighing less than 2.5 kg, the dose is 4 ml per kg per day. For newborns and children up to 11 years old weighing over 2.5 kg, the dose is 10 ml per day.
Method
This medicine is given as a drip into a vein by a doctor or nurse after it has been diluted.
Important
The total amount given should not be more than 10 ml per day.

Important Warnings
- Do not use Vitalipid Infant if your child is allergic to the active ingredients or any other ingredients in this medicine, or to peanuts, soy, or eggs. Tell the doctor immediately if your child shows signs of an allergic reaction.
- Do not use Vitalipid Infant if your child has already received too many vitamins or has too much calcium in their blood or urine.
- Tell your doctor if your child is taking medicines that contain Vitamin A or retinoids, tipranavir, or blood thinners. Also, mention if your child has skin or bone problems, kidney or liver problems, a bleeding disorder, malabsorption, cystic fibrosis, or heart problems.
