How to Use

Dosage

One Virono tablet, once.

Method

Place the tablet with a dry finger on your upper gum, above your front teeth, as soon as the first cold sore symptoms (itching, redness, or tingling) appear; do not suck, chew, or swallow the tablet.

Important

The maximum daily dose is one tablet within 24 hours.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to aciclovir, milk, or any other ingredient.
  • Talk to your doctor if your immune system is not working normally (e.g., AIDS or conditions/treatments that weaken the immune system); Virono might not be right for you.
  • Use Virono as soon as you feel the first signs of a cold sore (itching, redness, tingling), not after blisters have already formed.
  • This medicine should not be used by children or teenagers under 18 years of age.
  • If you accidentally swallow the tablet, drink a glass of water.

  • This medicine contains sodium lauryl sulfate, which may cause local skin irritation (like stinging or burning).
