How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will determine the dose based on your individual needs.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with water, preferably with a light meal. Do not chew, suck, or dissolve the capsules.

Important

Do not exceed 160 mg per week. Do not take more than once a week.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Infections in different parts of the body.
  • Stomach problems, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting.
  • Inflammation or sores in the mouth or throat.
  • Low red blood cells (anemia) causing paleness, weakness, or shortness of breath.
  • Low platelets, increasing the risk of bleeding and bruising.
  • Low white blood cells, increasing the risk of infection.
  • Loss of some reflexes.
  • Hair loss, usually mild.
  • Fatigue.
  • Fever.
  • General feeling of being unwell.
  • Weight loss, loss of appetite.
  • Low white blood cells with fever, which increases the risk of infection.
  • Difficulty coordinating muscle movements.
  • Vision changes.
  • Shortness of breath, cough.
  • Urination difficulties, other urinary and reproductive system disorders.
  • Sleeping difficulties.
  • Headache, dizziness, taste changes.
  • Esophageal inflammation, difficulty swallowing food and liquids.
  • Skin reactions.
  • Chills.
  • Weight gain.
  • Joint pain, jaw pain, muscle pain.
  • Pain in various parts of the body and at the tumor site.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Liver disease.
RARE
  • Heart failure causing shortness of breath, swollen ankles, or irregular heartbeat.
  • Lack of muscle control, which may involve abnormal gait, speech changes, and abnormal eye movements (ataxia).

Important Warnings

  • If you are allergic to vinorelbine, other vinca alkaloid cancer medicines, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • If you have a gut disease that affects how your body absorbs food.
  • If you have had part of your stomach or small intestine surgically removed.
  • If you have low white blood cells or platelets, or a severe infection now or in the last two weeks.
  • If you are breastfeeding.
