How to Use

Dosage

1 drop in the affected eye(s) 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, and evening).

Method

Wash your hands. Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to form a pocket. Gently squeeze the bottle to put one drop into this pocket. Do not touch your eye with the dropper tip. Close the bottle tightly after use.

Important

Do not exceed 3 drops per day in each affected eye.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to moxifloxacin, other quinolone antibiotics, or any other ingredients in Vigamox.
  • Stop using Vigamox immediately if you get a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of your hands, feet, face, lips, mouth, or throat, trouble swallowing or breathing, rash, hives, or blisters.
  • If you wear contact lenses, stop using them immediately if you have any signs of an eye infection. Use glasses instead, and do not wear contact lenses again until the infection symptoms are gone and you have stopped using the medicine.
  • Stop using Vigamox immediately if you feel pain or swelling in your tendons, as this could be a sign of tendon inflammation.
  • Like other antibiotics, long-term use of Vigamox may lead to other infections.

  • Your vision may become blurry for a short time after using Vigamox eye drops. Do not drive or operate machinery until your vision is clear again.
  • Discard the opened eye drop bottle 4 weeks after opening to prevent infection.
