How to Use

Dosage

For the first 3 days, take one 0.5 mg tablet once daily. For the next 4 days (Days 4-7), take one 0.5 mg tablet twice daily. From Day 8 onwards for 12 weeks, take one 1 mg tablet twice daily. Your doctor might adjust the dose or extend treatment.

Method

Take the tablets by mouth, swallow them whole with water. You can take them with or without food.

Important

The maximum daily dose is two 1 mg tablets, totaling 2 mg.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to varenicline or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • If you experience agitation, depressed mood, behavior changes, or suicidal thoughts, stop taking Varenikliini axunio and contact your doctor immediately.
  • Seek urgent medical attention if you experience symptoms of a heart attack or stroke.
  • Stop taking Varenikliini axunio and tell your doctor immediately if you have signs of a severe allergic reaction like swelling of your face, lips, tongue, gums, throat, or body, or difficulty breathing, or wheezing.
  • If you develop a rash, peeling skin, or blisters, stop taking Varenikliini axunio and seek immediate medical attention.
