How to Use

Dosage

Start with one 0.5 mg tablet once daily for the first 3 days. From day 4 to 7, take one 0.5 mg tablet twice daily (morning and evening). From day 8 onwards (weeks 2-12), take one 1 mg tablet twice daily (morning and evening).

Method

Swallow tablets whole with water, with or without food. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

Important

The maximum daily dose is one 1 mg tablet twice daily (a total of 2 mg per day).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to varenicline or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • If you experience depression, suicidal thoughts, suicidal behavior, or other worrying mood or behavior changes, stop taking the medicine and contact a doctor immediately.
  • If you have heart problems or experience symptoms of a heart attack or stroke during treatment, tell your doctor immediately.
  • If you have a history of seizures or epilepsy, tell your doctor before starting treatment, as this medicine can cause seizures.
  • Stop taking the medicine and seek immediate medical help if you have a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing.
