How to Use

Dosage

Treatment usually starts with a lower dose, then moves to one 1 mg tablet twice daily.

Method

Swallow tablets whole with water, with or without food.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 1 mg twice daily (total 2 mg per day).

Important Warnings

  • If you feel depressed, anxious, have suicidal thoughts, or your behavior changes, stop the medicine and contact a doctor immediately.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart problems or develop new heart symptoms; seek immediate medical care if you have symptoms of a heart attack or stroke.
  • Tell your doctor if you have a history of seizures or epilepsy, as this medicine may cause seizures.
  • Stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you develop a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing.
  • If you develop a severe rash, peeling skin, or blisters, stop the medicine and seek immediate medical attention.
