How to Use

Dosage

Typically, take one 1 mg tablet twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, from day 15 onwards.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water. You can take it with or without food.

Important

The maximum recommended daily dose is one 1 mg tablet taken twice a day, totaling 2 mg daily.

  • Ringing in the ears
  • Chest pain on exertion, fast heartbeat, palpitations, increased heart rate
  • Increased blood pressure, hot flashes
  • Inflammation of nose, sinuses or throat, blocked nose, throat, and lungs, hoarseness, hay fever, throat irritation, blocked sinuses, excessive mucus causing cough, runny nose

  • Sugar in urine, increased urine volume and frequent urination

  • Loss of touch with reality and inability to think clearly (psychosis)
  • Abnormal behavior
  • Severe skin reactions, including erythema multiforme and Stevens-Johnson syndrome (serious skin conditions with blistering)
  • Severe allergic reactions, including angioedema (swelling of face, mouth, or throat)
  • Temporary loss of consciousness

Important Warnings

  • This medicine may cause mood changes, depression, thoughts of self-harm, or changes in behavior. If you notice these, stop taking the medicine and talk to your doctor right away.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart or blood vessel problems, or if new symptoms appear during treatment. Seek urgent medical care if you have symptoms of a heart attack or stroke.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures or epilepsy before starting this medicine.
  • Stop taking the medicine and seek immediate medical help if you develop signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, or difficulty breathing.
  • Stop taking the medicine and seek immediate medical help if you develop a rash, peeling skin, or blisters. These could be signs of serious skin conditions.
