How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose is 10 mg.

Method

Take one tablet with water about 25–60 minutes before sexual activity. An erection is possible with sexual stimulation anytime from 25 minutes to 4–5 hours after taking the tablet.

Important

Do not take Vardenafil Stada more than once a day.

  • Swelling of skin and mucous membranes, including face, lips or throat

  • Effects on vision, such as red eyes, changes in color vision, eye pain, discomfort in the eye, or sensitivity to light
  • Ringing in the ears or spinning sensation (vertigo)
  • Fast heartbeat or palpitations
  • Shortness of breath
  • Nasal congestion
  • Acid reflux, stomach inflammation, stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, dry mouth
  • Increased liver enzymes in the blood
  • Rash, irritated skin
  • Back or muscle pain, increased muscle enzyme (creatine kinase) in blood, muscle stiffness

  • Eye inflammation (conjunctivitis)

  • High or low blood pressure

  • Temporary decrease in blood flow to the brain
  • Blood in urine (hematuria)
  • Bleeding from the penis
  • Blood in semen (hematospermia)
  • Sudden death
  • Cerebral hemorrhage (bleeding in the brain)
  • Severe skin reactions, such as red, raised or circular patches with blisters, skin peeling, and sores in the mouth, throat, nose, genitals, and eyes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis)
  • Distorted, blurred, or sudden vision loss

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to vardenafil or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you are taking medicines containing nitrates (for chest pain) or nitric oxide donors (like amyl nitrite), as this can seriously affect your blood pressure.
  • Do not take if you are taking ritonavir or indinavir for HIV infection.
  • Do not take if you are over 75 years old and taking antifungal medicines like ketoconazole or itraconazole.
  • Do not take if you have severe heart or liver problems.

  • Do not take if you are on kidney dialysis.
  • Do not take if you have recently had a stroke or heart attack.
  • Do not take if you have or have had low blood pressure.
  • Do not take if you have inherited eye diseases (like retinitis pigmentosa).
  • Do not take if you have ever lost vision due to damage to the optic nerve (NAION).
  • Do not take if you are taking riociguat (for high blood pressure in the lungs), as Vardenafil Stada can increase its blood pressure-lowering effect.
  • Stop taking Vardenafil Stada and seek immediate medical help if you develop severe skin reactions like rashes, blistering, or mouth sores.
  • Stop taking Vardenafil Stada and contact your doctor immediately if you experience sudden blurred vision, distorted vision, or loss of vision.
  • Do not drink grapefruit juice with Vardenafil Stada, as it can interfere with the medicine's effect.
  • Alcohol may worsen erection problems.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy or have vision problems after taking Vardenafil Stada.
  • Be careful if you have heart problems, as sexual activity can be a risk.
  • Be careful if you have an irregular heartbeat or an inherited heart condition affecting your ECG.
  • Be careful if you have a physical deformity of the penis (e.g., angulation, Peyronie's disease, cavernous fibrosis).
  • Be careful if you have a condition that causes long-lasting erections (priapism), such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia.
  • Be careful if you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer.
  • Be careful if you have a bleeding disorder, such as hemophilia.
  • Do not use Vardenafil Stada film-coated tablets with any other erectile dysfunction treatments, including other forms of vardenafil.
