How to Use

Dosage

For the first two weeks, use one vaginal tablet daily; after that, use one tablet twice a week, with 3 to 4 days between each dose.

Method

Insert the vaginal tablet into the vagina using the applicator provided; do not take it by mouth.

Important

The maximum daily dose is one vaginal tablet, used during the initial two-week treatment period.

  • Deep vein thrombosis (blood clot in leg veins)
  • Pain in the outer genital area and vagina

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to estradiol or any other ingredient.
  • Do not use if you have or have had breast cancer, or if cancer sensitive to estrogens is suspected.
  • Stop using and contact your doctor immediately if you experience unexplained vaginal bleeding.
  • Stop using and contact your doctor immediately if you get a blood clot (symptoms like painful swelling/redness in legs, sudden chest pain, or trouble breathing).
  • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Stop using and contact your doctor if you develop a severe headache like a migraine for the first time.
  • Stop using and contact your doctor if your skin or eyes turn yellow (jaundice), as this may be a sign of liver problems.
  • Stop using and contact your doctor if you experience sudden swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing, as these could be signs of a serious allergic reaction.

Category D

The classification depends on the dosage form. Systemic use (for example estrogen patch, tablet, gel): Avoid use in older adults. In systemic use, consider potential adverse effects, such as risk of cardiovascular diseases and venous thromboembolism. Consider potential interactions.
