How to Use

Dosage

One tablet containing 6 mg solifenacin and 0.4 mg tamsulosin.

Method

Take the tablet by mouth. You can take it with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Important

The maximum daily dose is one tablet.

  • Runny or blocked nose (rhinitis)

  • Fecal impaction (hard stool in large intestine)
  • Fainting (syncope)
  • Skin allergy causing swelling under the skin (angioedema)
  • Hallucinations, confusion
  • Allergic skin reaction (erythema multiforme)
  • Prolonged and painful erection (priapism)
  • Severe skin reaction with rash, inflammation, and blistering of skin and/or mucous membranes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome)
  • Decreased appetite
  • High blood potassium levels (hyperkalemia) that can cause abnormal heart rhythms
  • Increased eye pressure (glaucoma)
  • Irregular or changed heart rate (arrhythmias, QT prolongation, Torsade de Pointes, atrial fibrillation)
  • Fast heart rate (tachycardia)
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
  • Difficulty dilating pupil during cataract or glaucoma surgery; iris floppiness during surgery
  • Voice disorders
  • Liver dysfunction
  • Muscle weakness (general)
  • Kidney dysfunction
  • Vision impairment
  • Nosebleed (epistaxis)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to solifenacin, tamsulosin, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you are undergoing dialysis treatment.
  • Do not use if you have severe liver disease.
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney disease or moderate liver disease and are also taking certain medicines that slow down how your body removes Urizia.
  • Do not use if you have severe stomach or bowel problems (like toxic megacolon or severe ulcerative colitis).

  • Do not use if you have myasthenia gravis, a muscle disease causing severe muscle weakness.
  • Do not use if you have high eye pressure (glaucoma) and your vision is progressively getting worse.
  • Do not use if you faint due to low blood pressure when changing positions (like sitting up or standing up) (orthostatic hypotension).
