How to Use

Dosage

The doctor will decide the exact amount. For adults, it's usually between 2 and 400 MBq. For children, the dose is based on body weight.

Method

It is given as an injection into a vein in your arm or as eye drops.

Important

This medicine is given as a single dose for the diagnostic test. An overdose is unlikely.

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you have any allergies, as allergic reactions have occurred with this medicine.
  • Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant.
  • Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding. You may need to stop breastfeeding for about 12 hours after getting this medicine.
  • Avoid close contact with young children and pregnant women for 12 hours after the injection.
