How to Use

Dosage

Your dentist will determine the correct dose based on your age, weight, and the procedure. It is used for children over 4 years old and adults.

  • Low blood pressure
  • Swelling of the tongue, lips, or gums
RARE
  • Burning sensation
  • High blood pressure
  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
  • Rash or itching
  • Anxiety or nervousness
  • Drowsiness
  • Vision problems like double vision, blurred vision, or temporary blindness
  • Temporary or permanent loss of sensation, prolonged numbness, or loss of taste
  • Convulsions or seizures
  • Dizziness or fainting
  • Breathing difficulties or wheezing
  • Muscle twitching or involuntary muscle spasms
  • Fatigue or weakness

Important Warnings

  • Tell your dentist if you are allergic to Ubistesin forte, other numbing medicines, or any of its ingredients.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have severe epilepsy that is not well controlled.
  • Talk to your dentist if you have serious heart problems, such as irregular heartbeat, heart failure, or if you have had a heart attack or bypass surgery in recent months.
  • Inform your dentist if you are taking blood pressure medication (beta-blockers), antidepressants, or Parkinson's disease medications, as they can affect how this medicine works.
  • Talk to your dentist if you have uncontrolled diabetes or an overactive thyroid.

  • Do not eat or chew anything until the numbness in your mouth has worn off to avoid accidentally biting yourself.
  • This medicine contains sodium sulfite, which can rarely cause a severe allergic reaction or breathing difficulties (bronchospasm).
