Trisekvens is a hormone replacement medicine used to relieve menopause symptoms and prevent bone loss in women who have not had a period for at least 6 months.

How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet daily following the pack's instructions: 12 blue tablets, then 10 white tablets, and finally 6 red tablets.

Method

Take the tablet with a glass of water, preferably at the same time each day.

Important

The maximum dose is one tablet per day.

  • Weight gain due to fluid retention
  • Vaginal inflammation or yeast infection
  • Migraine or worsening migraine
  • Depression or worsening depression

  • Abdominal pain, bloating or discomfort
  • Breast enlargement or swelling
  • Back pain
  • Leg cramps
  • Uterine fibroids (benign growths), worsening or recurrence
  • Swelling of hands or feet
RARE
  • Bloating or gas
  • Acne
  • Hair loss
  • Abnormal (male-pattern) hair growth
  • Itching or hives
  • Superficial vein inflammation
  • Allergic reaction
  • Excessive growth of the uterine lining
  • Menstrual pain
  • Nervousness
  • Blood clots in lungs
  • Deep vein thrombosis (blood clot in deep veins)
  • Endometrial cancer (cancer of the uterine lining)
  • Increased blood pressure or worsening high blood pressure
  • Gallbladder disease, gallstones, worsening or recurrence
  • Excess sebum production, skin rash
  • Acute or recurrent swelling (angioedema)
  • Insomnia, dizziness, restlessness
  • Changes in sexual desire
  • Vision disturbances
  • Weight loss
  • Vomiting
  • Heartburn
  • Vaginal or genital itching
  • Heart attack or stroke

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Trisekvens if you have or have had breast cancer or any other estrogen-sensitive cancer.
  • Do not take Trisekvens if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding.
  • Do not take Trisekvens if you have or have had a blood clot in your leg or lungs.
  • Stop taking Trisekvens and tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant.
  • Stop taking Trisekvens and tell your doctor immediately if your skin or eyes turn yellow (signs of liver problems).

  • Stop taking Trisekvens and tell your doctor immediately if you experience sudden swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, or have difficulty breathing (signs of a severe allergic reaction).
  • Stop taking Trisekvens and tell your doctor immediately if you develop new migraine-like headaches.
  • Stop taking Trisekvens and tell your doctor immediately if you notice any signs of a blood clot, such as painful swelling in your leg, sudden chest pain, or trouble breathing.
