Important Warnings

  • Do not use Tricovivax if you are allergic to minoxidil or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Make sure your scalp is healthy before starting treatment. If you have skin inflammation or damage (like rash, psoriasis, sunburn, or severe dandruff), the medicine might absorb too much, increasing the risk of side effects.
  • If you have a heart condition (like a heart attack, irregular heartbeat, or heart valve problems), talk to your doctor before starting Tricovivax.
  • If you are taking blood pressure lowering medicines, use Tricovivax only under a doctor's supervision.
  • Make sure children do not touch areas of your body where you have applied minoxidil. If you notice excessive hair growth on your child's body while you are using minoxidil products, contact a doctor.
Show 6 more warnings
  • Tricovivax contains alcohol and propylene glycol, which can cause burning or irritation if it accidentally gets on sensitive skin areas (eyes, mucous membranes, broken skin). In such cases, wash the affected area thoroughly with plenty of running tap water. If burning or irritation continues, contact a doctor.
  • Tricovivax should not be used by patients under 18 or over 65 years old, as its safety has not been confirmed for these age groups.
  • Do not expose treated skin to strong sunlight, as skin reactions (e.g., redness) or sunburn may occur, which can increase the absorption of minoxidil through the skin.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. Tricovivax should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Contact a doctor immediately if you notice swelling of your face, lips, or throat that makes it hard to swallow or breathe. This could be a sign of a severe allergic reaction.
  • If any of the following side effects occur, stop treatment immediately and talk to your doctor.
