Trevicopto Comp eye drops are used to lower high eye pressure in adults, including older patients, which can lead to a condition called glaucoma.

How to Use

Dosage

One drop in the affected eye or eyes once daily.

Method

Take the drops at the same time each day, either in the morning or evening. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pocket, and gently drop one drop inside the lower eyelid. Avoid touching your eye or eyelid with the dropper tip. Close your eye and press on the inner corner near your nose for two minutes.

Important

Do not take more than one drop per affected eye per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Eye redness
  • Inflammation and damage to the eye surface
  • Eye pain
  • Blurred or abnormal vision
  • Dry eyes
  • Eye itching
  • Eye discomfort
  • Eye irritation (e.g., burning, stinging)
RARE
  • Eyelid inflammation or irritation, thinning of the eye surface, or swelling of the conjunctiva (membrane covering the white part of the eye)
  • Changes in eyelashes (e.g., lengthening, abnormal position, or abnormal growth)
  • Iris inflammation, eye inflammation, light sensitivity, decreased vision, or tired eyes
  • Eye allergy or swelling, increased tear production, eyelid redness or color change, or darkening of skin around the eye
  • Drooping eyelid, sunken eyes, or change in iris color
  • Broken blood vessel in the eye, crusting on eyelids, or abnormally positioned eyelashes
  • Allergic reaction to the medicine, dizziness, or headache
  • Increased or decreased blood pressure, shortness of breath, increased hair growth, or mucus dripping from the back of the throat
  • Skin inflammation and itching, slow heart rate, nervousness, irregular heartbeat, or hair loss
  • Voice changes, cough, throat irritation, or hives (itchy rash)
  • Abnormal liver test results, skin discoloration, thirst, or fatigue
  • Nasal discomfort, colored urine, or pain in hands and feet
  • Rash, heart failure, chest pain, stroke, or fainting
  • Depression, asthma, fast heart rate, numbness or tingling, or palpitations
  • Swelling in legs or bad taste in mouth

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to travoprost, timolol, beta-blockers, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you currently have or have previously had a lung disease such as asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other breathing difficulties.
  • Do not use if you have severe hay fever, a slow heart rate, heart failure, or an irregular heartbeat.
  • Do not use if the surface of your eye is cloudy.
  • If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine. Use effective contraception if you could become pregnant. Do not use if you are breastfeeding.

  • This medicine is not for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
  • Your vision may blur right after using the drops, and some people may feel dizzy or nervous. Do not drive or operate machinery until these symptoms have cleared.
  • This medicine can permanently change your eye color and may make your eyelashes longer, thicker, darker, or more numerous. It can also cause unusual hair growth on your eyelids.
  • If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
