How to Use

Dosage

1 drop in the affected eye once a day in the evening.

Method

Wash your hands. Pull down your lower eyelid to make a pocket, then drop 1 drop into the eye. Do not touch your eye with the bottle tip. Press the inner corner of your eye for one minute. Close the bottle after use.

Important

Do not use more than 1 drop per day per affected eye.

Important Warnings

  • This medicine may make your eyelashes longer, thicker, darker, or cause unusual hair growth on your eyelids and around your eye.
  • Your iris (the colored part of your eye) might change color permanently, and the skin around your eyes might also change color.
  • If you've had cataract surgery, talk to your doctor before using Travoprost Stada.
  • If you have or have had eye inflammation (like iritis or uveitis), talk to your doctor before using Travoprost Stada.
  • In rare cases, Travoprost Stada can cause shortness of breath or make asthma worse. Tell your doctor if you notice any changes in your breathing.

  • Travoprost can be absorbed through the skin. If the medicine gets on your skin, wash it off right away. This is very important for pregnant women or women trying to get pregnant.
  • If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
  • Do not use Travoprost Stada if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you might get pregnant, use effective birth control.
  • Your vision might be blurry for a short time after using these eye drops. Do not drive or use machines until your vision is clear.
  • Travoprost Stada contains benzalkonium chloride, which can irritate eyes, especially if you have dry eyes or cornea problems. Talk to your doctor if you feel unusual sensations, stinging, or pain in your eye after use.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category A

Suitable for older adults. Start and continue therapy under supervision by an ophthalmologist. May cause changes in iris pigmentation and excessive growth of eyelashes. (updated 4.12.2023)
