How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose for adults and children over 12 years old is one tablet, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

Method

Take the tablets by mouth. Swallow them whole with enough liquid. You can split the tablets into equal doses, but do not chew or crush them.

Important

Do not take more than 4 Tramadol/Paracetamol Krka tablets per day.

RARE
  • Fast heartbeat or high blood pressure, heart rhythm and rate disorders
  • Unusual tingling sensation in limbs, ringing in the ears, involuntary muscle twitching
  • Depression, nightmares, hallucinations (hearing, seeing, or feeling things that are not there), memory loss
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Difficulty swallowing, blood in stool
  • Skin reactions (hives, rash)
  • Increased liver enzyme values
  • Difficulty or pain when urinating, protein in urine
  • Chills, hot flashes, chest pain
  • Seizures
  • Difficulty controlling movements
  • Temporary loss of consciousness (fainting)
  • Drug dependence
  • State of confusion (delirium)
  • Blurred vision
  • Pupil narrowing (miosis)
  • Speech disorders
  • Pupil widening (mydriasis)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to paracetamol, tramadol hydrochloride, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have acute poisoning from alcohol, sleeping pills, other pain relievers, or medicines that affect your mood or mental state.
  • Do not take if you are also taking MAO inhibitors (medicines for depression or Parkinson's disease) or have taken them within the last 14 days.
  • Do not take if you have severe liver disease.
  • Do not take if you have epilepsy that is not well-controlled by your current medication.

  • Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines containing paracetamol or tramadol, to avoid exceeding the maximum daily dose.
  • Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding because this medicine contains tramadol.
  • This medicine can make you sleepy, and alcohol can increase this effect. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
  • Taking this medicine with sedatives like benzodiazepines can cause severe sleepiness, breathing problems, or coma, which can be life-threatening.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category A

Suitable for older adults. The recommended maximum dose for long-term use is 2 grams per day. Can be used concurrently with warfarin only if INR values are monitored. Consider paracetamol in OTC drugs and combination products. Risk of poisoning with daily doses over 4 grams. (updated 14.4.2024)
