Tradolan Retard is a pain medicine that works in your brain and spinal cord to help with moderate to severe pain.
For adults and young people over 12, take one 100 mg tablet twice a day, usually in the morning and evening. Your doctor might change this dose.
Swallow the tablets whole with plenty of water, preferably in the morning and evening. Do not chew them. You can take them with or without food. The 150 mg and 200 mg tablets can be divided in half.
Do not take more than 400 mg in one day unless your doctor tells you to.
Avoid use in older adults. Serotonergic. Prodrug. Genotype affects the response. Reduce the dose in moderately severe and severe renal impairment. Increases the risk of confusion and falling. Need for laxative is often necessary. Consider potential interactions. (updated 18.8.2025)
