Topotecan Accord is a medicine used to help destroy tumors in certain types of cancer.
For ovarian or small-cell lung cancer, the dose is 1.5 mg per square meter of your body surface area daily. For cervical cancer, the dose is 0.75 mg per square meter of your body surface area daily.
A doctor or nurse will give Topotecan Accord as an infusion (drip) into a vein in your arm over about 30 minutes in a hospital. This is typically given once a day for 5 days (for ovarian or small-cell lung cancer) or for 3 days (for cervical cancer).
The maximum daily dose is 1.5 mg per square meter of body surface area for ovarian or small-cell lung cancer, and 0.75 mg per square meter for cervical cancer, given once per day.
