How to Use

Dosage

One or two tablets in the evening, or one rectal suspension in the morning if needed.

Method

Swallow tablets whole with water, usually in the evening. Do not chew or crush tablets. Rectal suspension is administered into the rectum, usually in the morning.

Important

Use only one dose of Toilax per day as needed. Do not use for more than a week continuously without a doctor's advice.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Toilax if you are allergic to bisacodyl or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have sudden, severe stomach pain, acute inflammatory bowel disease, or bowel obstruction.
  • Do not use if you are dehydrated or have an imbalance of fluids or salts in your body.
  • Do not use if you have sores or inflammation around the anus or in the rectum, or bleeding hemorrhoids.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have long-term or ongoing constipation.

  • Toilax can cause dizziness and fainting. If this happens, avoid driving or operating machinery.
  • Frequent and long-term use can lead to dependence, making your bowels unable to work normally without laxatives.
  • Do not give Toilax to children under 2 years old.
  • Do not take Toilax with milk products or antacids; wait at least one hour between them. Drink enough fluids daily.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
