Tigecycline Norameda is an antibiotic that stops bacteria from growing and causing infections.
Adults usually start with 100 mg, then 50 mg every 12 hours. For children 8-12 years, it's 1.2 mg per kg every 12 hours, up to 50 mg. Adolescents 12-18 years get 50 mg every 12 hours.
This medicine is given into a vein (intravenously) over 30 to 60 minutes.
For adults, up to 150 mg on the first day, then 100 mg daily. For children and adolescents, up to 100 mg daily.
