Ticagrelor Sandoz is a medicine that prevents blood platelets from clumping together, reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and death from heart and blood vessel disease.
For 60mg tablets: Take one tablet twice a day. For 90mg tablets: Start with two tablets (180mg total) once, usually in the hospital, then one tablet twice a day.
Take tablets with or without food, around the same time each day (e.g., one in the morning, one in the evening). If you have trouble swallowing, you can crush the tablet into a fine powder, mix it with half a glass of water, stir, and drink immediately. Rinse the glass with another half glass of water and drink to ensure no medicine is left.
For 60mg tablets, the maximum daily dose is 120mg (one tablet twice daily). For 90mg tablets, the maximum daily dose is 180mg (one tablet twice daily after the initial loading dose).
