How to Use

Dosage

The starting dose is two 90 mg tablets at once (total 180 mg), usually given in the hospital. After this, you take one 90 mg tablet twice a day for up to 12 months, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

Method

Take the medicine at about the same time each day (e.g., one tablet in the morning and one in the evening). You can take the tablets with or without food. If you have trouble swallowing, you can crush the tablet into a fine powder, mix it with half a glass of water, and drink it right away. Rinse the glass with another half glass of water to make sure you've taken all the medicine.

Important

The maximum daily dose after the initial loading dose is 180 mg (two 90 mg tablets).
