How to Use

Dosage

One tablet daily.

Method

Swallow the tablet with water or another drink, preferably at the same time each day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Breast pain
  • Abdominal or pelvic pain
  • Abnormal hair growth
  • Vaginal bleeding or spotting
  • Vaginal problems such as increased discharge, itching, irritation, and yeast infection
  • Thickening of the lining of the womb or cervix
  • Weight gain
RARE
  • Swelling in hands, ankles, or feet
  • Upset stomach
  • Acne
  • Nipple pain or breast discomfort
  • Vaginal infections
  • Itchy skin
  • Depression, dizziness, headache
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Skin problems like rashes
  • Vision problems or blurred vision
  • Changes in liver function tests

Important Warnings

  • If you have or have had breast cancer, or if it is suspected.
  • If you have or have had blood clots in your veins (e.g., in legs or lungs).
  • If you have or have had liver disease and your liver values are not back to normal.
  • If you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
  • If you are breastfeeding.

  • If you have unexplained vaginal bleeding.
  • Stop taking this medicine and contact your doctor immediately if any of these conditions appear for the first time during treatment.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D

Avoid use in older adults. Contraindication: oestrogen-dependent cancer. In systemic use, bear in mind potential adverse effects, such as risk of cardiovascular diseases and venous thromboembolism. Consider potential interactions. (updated 21.10.2024)
