How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will decide your exact dose based on your body size and illness.

Method

This medicine is given as a drip into a vein (intravenous infusion) after it has been diluted, and each infusion takes 2-4 hours.

Important

Your doctor will determine your maximum daily dose, and the total dose over your treatment period will not exceed safe limits.

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to thiotepa or any other ingredients in it.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
  • Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine.
  • Do not get live vaccines (like yellow fever, bacterial, or viral vaccines) while taking this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart, or lung problems.

  • This medicine may increase your risk of getting another type of cancer in the future; your doctor will discuss this with you.
  • This medicine can affect fertility in both men and women. Men should consider sperm banking before treatment and avoid fathering children during treatment and for one year afterward. Women should use effective birth control during treatment and for one year afterward.
  • Some side effects, like dizziness, headache, or blurred vision, might affect your ability to drive or use machines. Do not drive or use machines if you have these symptoms.
