Thiopental Panpharma is a fast-acting medicine given into a vein to induce general anesthesia, help with hypnosis, treat seizures, and lower high pressure in the skull.
Your doctor will decide your dose based on your age, gender, weight, and general health. For high skull pressure, you will receive a dose based on your weight. If you have liver or kidney problems, your doctor will give you a smaller dose.
This medicine is given directly into one of your veins (intravenously).
Your medical team will ensure you receive the correct amount and do not get too much.
