How to Use

Dosage

The typical dose is 2 pump presses of gel once a day, preferably in the morning.

Method

Apply the gel to a clean, dry skin area on your shoulder or upper arm. Do not rub it into the skin. Wash your hands after applying the gel and let it dry completely before dressing. Do not apply the gel to your genital areas.

Important

The maximum daily dose is four pump presses.

Important Warnings

  • Only men should use this medicine.
  • Do not use if you are under 18 years old.
  • Women, especially pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children should not come into contact with the gel or treated skin areas.
  • Do not use if you have or might have prostate cancer or breast cancer.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to testosterone or any other ingredient in this medicine.

  • Tell your doctor if you have an enlarged prostate, bone cancer, high blood pressure, severe heart, liver, or kidney problems, ischemic heart disease, blood clotting disorders, epilepsy, or migraines, as this medicine may worsen these conditions.
  • If you have diabetes and use insulin, your dose might need to be adjusted.
  • Do not apply the gel to your genital areas (penis and testicles) as the high alcohol content can cause local irritation.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water after applying the gel and cover the application area with clothing once it's dry to prevent transfer to others.
  • If your partner is pregnant or planning to become pregnant, follow instructions to prevent transfer of testosterone gel. Pregnant women must avoid all contact with application sites.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D

Avoid use in older adults. Start and continue therapy under specialist supervision. Consider risk of cardiovascular adverse effects and possibility of mental disorders. (updated 21.10.2024)
