How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected skin area 2-3 times a day.

Method

Clean the skin area carefully before applying. You can make the ointment work better by covering the area with a sterile dressing.

Important

Use the ointment only on small skin areas and for a short time. Do not use on large areas or for extended periods.

  • Recurrent erythema (round or oval red patches, skin swelling, blisters, or hives)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to oxytetracycline, hydrocortisone, or any other ingredient in the ointment.
  • Do not use if you have certain skin conditions like herpes, chickenpox, skin tuberculosis, or a fungal infection.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if new infections appear, if the treatment doesn't help quickly, or if your skin gets irritated during treatment.
  • Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.
  • Do not use the ointment in or around your eyes.

  • Do not use the ointment on large skin areas or for a long time in children or infants.
  • An active ingredient may harm tooth development if used in late pregnancy, during breastfeeding, or in children under seven years of age.
  • If you stop using Terracort after a long time, you might experience withdrawal symptoms that can worsen your skin condition, especially on sensitive skin areas. Talk to your doctor before using it again.
