How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults is one 14 mg tablet once a day.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with a little water. You can take Teriflunomide Olpha with or without food, once daily at any time.

Important

Do not take more than one 14 mg tablet per day.

  • Severe infections or sepsis (a life-threatening infection) with symptoms like high fever, shaking, chills, reduced urine flow, or confusion
  • Lung inflammation, which can cause difficulty breathing or a persistent cough
  • Severe liver disease, with symptoms like yellowing of skin or eyes, unusually dark urine, unexplained nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain
  • Low platelet count
  • Nerve problems in arms or legs (peripheral neuropathy), causing stinging or throbbing pain
  • Nail disorders
  • Psoriasis
  • Inflammation of the mouth or lips
  • Abnormal blood fat levels
  • Colon inflammation (colitis)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to teriflunomide or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding, as it can harm your baby.
  • Do not take if you have severe liver problems.
  • Do not take if you have a severe infection.
  • Do not take if you have a severe immune system problem (like AIDS), or problems with your bone marrow, or low red or white blood cell counts or low platelet counts.
