How to Use

Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12-18 years weighing at least 35 kg: 1 tablet daily.

Method

Take the tablet with food (e.g., a meal or snack). If you have trouble swallowing, you can crush the tablet and mix it with about 100 ml of water, orange juice, or grape juice, then drink immediately.

Important

Always take the dose prescribed by your doctor. Do not change the dose unless your doctor tells you to.

  • swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to tenofovir or any other ingredient.
  • This medicine does not stop HBV from spreading to others. Continue to use precautions.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had kidney problems.
  • Avoid taking other medicines that can harm your kidneys while on this medication.
  • Tell your doctor if you have bone pain, fractures, or bone disease.

  • If you experience joint stiffness, pain, or difficulty moving, tell your doctor.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had liver disease, including hepatitis.
  • If you notice signs of inflammation or infection after starting treatment, contact your doctor immediately.
  • If you are over 65 years old, talk to your doctor.
  • Do not stop taking other HIV medicines without your doctor's permission if you have both HBV and HIV.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are already taking other medicines that contain tenofovir or adefovir.
  • Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, especially those that can harm your kidneys.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
  • HIV-positive mothers should not breastfeed, as HIV can be passed to the baby.
  • This medicine can cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy.
  • Do not stop taking the medicine without your doctor's instructions.
  • If you have hepatitis B and/or HIV, do not stop this medicine without talking to your doctor first.
