How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose for adults and children over 12 years old is 0.3-0.6 mg every 6-8 hours.

Method

This medicine is given as an injection.

Important

The maximum daily dose is usually 2.4 mg (no more than four doses per day).

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you have breathing problems, as this medicine can make them worse.
  • This medicine can cause dependence. Do not use it for longer or in higher doses than prescribed by your doctor.

  • Tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure.
